I’ve been a steady ING Direct savings account customer for quite some time. They recently moved their savings rate up to 3.15% from 3.00% (yea!). But in the meantime a lot of other savings accounts have popped up that offer slightly higher rates. So far I have been reluctant to switch since ING is so easy to use and reliable.

I was about to start investigating rates figuring it may be time to make a switch when I ran into an excellent post over on Consumerism Comentary titled Current Checking and Savings Rates. Check it out if you want to get a great snapshot view of the highest interest rate accounts. Hopefully this will grow into a maintained list that people will update over time.
