Vonage has been working out great for me so far. Yesterday I finally took the time to call Verizon and cancel my landline. That’s at least $80/month that I no longer have to pay. The interesting thing is that they asked my during my cancellation why I was canceling, which I was very upfront about. When I mentioned Vonage and voice over IP, they at first asked if I was switching to the AT&T plan. Then they mentioned that they also have VoIP at $29.99/month. Vonage still seems great so far, so I’m sticking with them unless I have a compelling reason to change.
